Technology @ MA Marin Academy integrates technology throughout the curriculum. Students utilize technology in many different ways throughout their four years at MA. It is our goal to graduate media-literate students who have learned to use technology as a tool, where appropriate, in learning. In order to provide ubiquitous computing for students and faculty Marin Academy maintains multiple computer labs (including portables) which are connected to a high speed Internet connection via a fiber-optic "backbone" running throughout campus. Computer labs and classrooms are equipped with Macintosh and Windows computers and peripherals; slide/negative and photo scanners; black and white laser and photo-quality color printers; CDand DVD recorders; and additional audio and visual digital storage devices are all part of a wide range of technology available for student learning. All members of the community have access to an e-mail account and digital storage facilities. (Parental permission is required before students may be given network, Internet, and E-mail access. This web site will help students and faculty navigate some of the technology resources available to them at school. Click here for a .pdf file with instructions on connecting
