| The New Tattler is an online magazine created by the European II history class in May of 2006. It was intended to be a creative engagement describing the social atmosphere in London during the year of 1876. Each article was meticulously researched and is an accurate reflection of the Victorian Era. The purpose of this project was not to compile a series of reseach papers but rather to become immersed in 19th century European culture. The title is a takeoff of "The Tattler," which was an actual magazine in England in the early 18th century edited by Addison and Steele. You can access the magazine and table of contents by clicking on the buttons to the right. Enjoy. (Note to teachers: This project was accomplished by seven students who were in the computerlab for the entire month of May.) |
