State of the Bay Capstone Project:
The Community of San Rafael

Beginning with the class of 2009, the Capstone Project is a culminating experience for the junior class that takes place both on campus and in the surrounding communities the last eight days of school. Students will be involved in researching one essential question focusing on issues of equity and justice (the theme for the junior year). Outcomes of student discovery will be presented in a day long exhibition for the entire community. Participation in Capstone is a graduation requirement.
Students will research aspects of life in the San Francisco Bay Area, including transportation, housing, the environment, employment, health, and education.
